I know that we will meet again
You didn’t understand me
We fought in fits of passion
But no matter what we said before
That love you feel I understand
Maybe you never forgave me
Your side and mine, so opposite
We’ll likely never make amends
Many years passed unknowing The idea was fraternal twin brothers who were separated at birth. They each were raised on separate sides of a cultural war, and when they finally meet as young men, they are enemies. They feel the connection with each other, and though they are shocked to find out they are actually brothers, somewhere deep inside they understand and they know. This is one brother's apology to the other; he knows that neither will ever give up his beliefs and therefore they will always have to fight, but he at least has to let his brother know that no matter what happens he will never deny their brotherhood.
